Are you having trouble with your Math homework or would you like to review the material from the previous chapter? The Math Tank is equipped with a wide array of technology to help you learn more effectively. Math Instructors are there to answer any questions you may have with classwork or homework. Open daily for classes and tutoring services in Science & Technology Building, Room 7106.

The English Studio, second floor D Building, Room 4215, is open for writing assistance M-Th 8:00am-8:30pm and on Friday 9:00am-12:00pm.

 

PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) Tutor Connection Program
PAL Tutor Connection Program is an appointment based peer tutoring initiative that connects students who need extra support with Peer Tutors who have demonstrated proficiency in select courses. Students interested in tutoring can fill out a PAL Tutor Connection Request Form.

We would love to have you join our team!  Becoming a tutor gives you the opportunity to build your resume for college applications and future jobs once you graduate!  If you are interested in becoming a volunteer tutor for the PAL Tutor Connection Program and you have maintained at least a 3.0 GPA, please fill out the PAL Tutor Connection Application and turn in to Katie Wicker, Student & Enrollment Services, Building A.

PAL (Peer Assisted Learning) Supplemental Instruction Program
PAL Supplemental Instruction Program is an academic support program whereby a peer Supplemental Instructor is embedded in select courses to aid students. Supplemental Instruction via the PAL program is targeted to support first year students. PAL Leaders are selected on the basis of instructor recommendation, prior exemplary completion of the course, and a preferred current GPA of 3.5. Each week the PAL Leader attends class, where they begin building rapport with students and stay current with course content. In addition, the PAL Leader holds 4-6 hours of outside tutoring and /or Supplemental Instruction sessions. This program is offered during Fall and Spring semesters only.

PAL Supplemental Instruction Schedule includes sessions for students in CIS 110, PSY 150, BIO 094, BIO 110, BIO 140, BIO 163.
