Our mission is to conduct training that will enhance officer skills and create new officers through Basic Law Enforcement Training and yearly In-Service training. Our campus offers this training to all law enforcement officers throughout the year at various times and places.
Basic Law Enforcement Training courses are offered during daytime and nighttime hours at different times during the year. The daytime classes typically meet Monday through Friday from 8am -5pm. The nighttime classes typically meet Monday through Thursday 6pm to 11pm along with about every other Saturday. Our BLET academy dates are listed on the calendar page. For consideration of acceptance into the academy, contact the School Director Wayne Lamm at 252-451-8278 or via e-mail at
for an application packet and further information on the program.
Our in-service courses offered to law enforcement are also located on the training calendar page. In addition to these courses we also offer the NC state mandated law enforcement training each year.
Our instructors are well versed in the subjects they teach. They have experience in teaching the courses as well as practical experiences from actual work in that field.
For more information on our training that is being offered or suggestions on training that would be of benefit to your agency, please use the contact information listed on the left.
