Nash Community College is a member institution of the North Carolina Community College system. Our tuition and fees are set by the State Board of Community Colleges and are subject to change without notice. Our present tuition and fees are reflected below.
$69.00 per credit hour in-state / $261.00 per credit hour out-of-state
Plus $4.00 per credit hour (Activity Fee), $2.00 per credit hour (Technology Fee), and $12.00 per semester (Student Security).
Tuition for Senior Citizens
Residents of North Carolina who are 65 years of age or older may register for up to six credit hours of credit instruction per academic
semester without paying tuition. In addition, tuition will also be waived for up to 96 contact
hours of non-credit instruction per academic semester. Senior citizens must pay the associated fees. These waivers are not applicable to self-supporting classes. Additional details regarding these waivers can be obtained
through the Business Office.
Student Activity Fee
The Board of Trustees of Nash Community College has approved a $4.00 per credit hour ($32 maximum per semester) student activity fee. This fee entitles a student to participate in all Student Government Association activities and to have coverage under the College's Student Accident Insurance Plan.
Student Technology Fee
The Board of Trustees of Nash Community College has approved a Student Technology Fee of $2.00 per credit hour ($16 maximum per semester). This fee entitles a student to use of the computer labs and the college’s Student Email.
Student Security/Parking Fee
The Board of Trustees of Nash Community College has approved a Student SecurityFee of $12.00 per semester.
