Fire & Rescue

Nash Community College's Fire Service Training program is designed to provide individuals and firefighters the information and skills needed for modern firefighting through a variety of learning experiences and training scenarios. The classes are taken directly to firefighters through training sessions held in local departments and at training sites throughout the community.

Nash Community College Offers Fire & Rescue Training in the following areas:

  • Firefighter I & II Certification Classes
  • Driver Operator Day Classes 
  • Technical Rescuer 
  • Hazardous Materials
  • Incident Command System
  • Wild Land & Urban Interface Fire Fighting Operations
  • Specialty classes through other agencies including: NC Emergency Management, Rescue Three International & Municipal Emergency Services
