Nash Community College's Nurse Aide program offers basic nursing skills required to provide personal care for patients, residents, or clients in a health care setting. Topics include communications, safety, patients' rights, personal care, vital signs, elimination, nutrition, emergencies, rehabilitation, and mental health. Upon successful completion of the course, the student is eligible to make application for the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program (NNAAP).
