Associate Degree Nursing (Integrated) - A45110

The Associate Degree Nursing (integrated) curriculum provides individuals with the knowledge and skills necessary to provide nursing care to clients and groups of clients throughout the lifespan in a variety of settings. 

The Associate Degree Nursing Program is a five (5) semester program of study or two (2) semesters for LPN Advanced students leading to a two-year Associate in Applied Science degree. Courses include content related to the nurse's role as provider of nursing care, as manager of care, as member of the discipline of nursing, and as a member of the interdisciplinary team. Graduates of this program are eligible to apply to take the National Council Licensure Examination (NCLEX-RN) which is required for practice as a Registered Nurse.

Only letter grades of “C” or higher in all curriculum courses will count toward completion of the Associate Degree Nursing degree.

The ADN program requires students to complete a program application. Applications must be submitted to the Health Sciences Department by February 1, 2013.
