Nash Community College Launches New Communication Tools
(Rocky Mount, NC) The Nash Community College Office of Financial Aid has recently launched two new email addresses to better serve students. Students may e-mail
and Financial Aid will respond within 24 hours during normal processing times and within 48 hours during peak times, such as registration. Veteran students may e-mail
and a Veterans Financial Aid Officer will respond within the same amount of time.
The college expects the use of these new e-mail addresses to decrease wait times for students who call or walk-in. The new addresses will also assist in informing students of required information prior to their application. With recent changes in federal regulations regarding financial aid and veteran benefits, students will benefit from enhanced communication.
The college will begin utilizing the new communication tools during the upcoming fall semester. Fall registration is July 13-16. Online registration only for returning students will start at 8:00 am on July 9 and will be available 24 hours around the clock except the hours of 1 am - 5 am each day. New student orientation is July 13 at 1pm in the College's Brown Auditorium.
