Prepare to interview for the start of a career in banking!

Program Information:  This 24 hour course, offered over a one week period, is designed to prepare students to interview for a beginning career in banking.

Course Topics Include:

• Banking Fundamentals
• Role Overviews
• Resume Writing
• Interviewing Skills

With the successful completion of this course along with the submission of your online application, students are guaranteed an interview with PNC Bank for one of the following roles:  Teller Services, Collections Specialist, or an Operations Specialist.

Program Requirements:

• Must be 18 years of age on or before class ends
• Complete a Nash Community College Continuing Education Registration Form
• Provide a copy of your High School Diploma, GED, or advanced degree (transcripts are acceptable). All diplomas must be from regionally accredited schools
• Complete the CRC Assessment at a minimum of a Bronze level

Class Requirements:
To successfully complete the program, students must attend 100% of all scheduled classes and pass the course at 85% or higher. Students not meeting attendance and/or grade requirements will be dismissed from the program.

PNC Employment Requirements:
After completing the course, PNC Bank will require the following for role eligibility.

Job opportunities within the different areas may vary depending on schedules and availability. Successful completion of this course guarantees an interview with a PNC Hiring Manager. If the person is hired and is successful in the role after a period of 90 days, the cost of the tuition will be reimbursed by PNC University. Salary Information will be provided later in the process directly by PNC. Wages are competitive and at industry standard.
