Nash Community College, a unit of the North Carolina Community College System, was founded in 1967 as a public, two-year, post secondary, educational institution with an open door admission policy. Nash Community College’s mission is to provide an affordable educational environment which prepares students for college transfer and rewarding careers. Mr. Courtney Crowder, Legislative Director for the Office of Governor Beverly Purdue, will be the Diversity Speaker on February 14th at 12 noon in the Business & Industry Center. Mr Crowder's topic will be Community Responsibility & Issue Awareness. All faculty, staff and students are encouraged to attend.
