On October 17 in the Brown Auditorium, the Nash Community College Health Sciences Department will host two information sessions on health sciences programs and requirements. Sessions will be offered at 1:00pm and 6:00pm. The sessions will offer great information for parents, students and those who assist in advising students. Each session will include the following:

General Information

• eligibility and requirements for program applications
• competitiveness of the programs
• criminal background checks
• drug screenings
• physical examinations/immunizations
• CPR certification
• other common requirements between the programs
  

Breakout Sessions

Breakout sessions will be held in smaller groups by disciplines to discuss the specifics of each program including more specific detail.

• admissions processes/ranking
• clinical education/travel expectations
• retention rates
• time management
• other priorities to successfully make it through the programs
