Amy Davis-Moore graduated with honors from Nash Community College with an Associate in Arts degree. She then transferred to Atlantic Christian College (now Barton College) and completed her Bachelor of Arts degree. Today, she is employed at Nash Community College as a Communications Specialist and Instructor.

Davis-Moore said that Nash Community College was a perfect start for her because she was encouraged and mentored by her instructors. “They expected more of me – more than I even thought I could do. They helped build my confidence with kind words, high expectations, and constant encouragement. If someone is fortunate to have such an experience, he or she will have the foundation for success. That is what Nash Community did for me – gave me a strong foundation.”
