Part-Time Teacher - Child Development Center

Requirements

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS FOR POSITION:
NC State Credentials from an accredited institution with a minimum of two years of experience. Maintain 20 DCDEE approved in-service hours yearly. Must submit a Federal criminal records check and fingerprints before first day of employment.

Job Description

The Part-time teacher is responsible for continuing daily actives and carrying out routines according to the classroom schedule, while the Lead teacher is out of the classroom. This includes, but not limited to daily one hour planning time, help covering a 1 hour and 15 minute lunch break, answer center phone and door. The Part-time teacher shall be immunized, have a current TB skin test, and in good physical health as evidence by an annual physical examination documentation. In addition, the Part-time teacher is responsible for a current certification in CPR, First Aid, and for meeting State requirements.
