Nash Community College is an experience I will never forget because it offered me everything I needed at the time. I was given all the resources I needed to be successful. I felt like the instructors wanted me to succeed.

Being at Nash Community College as a student and now being an instructor has definitely given me an appreciation for educators because you have to be passionate in what you teach, or it will show, and it was clear that the instructors at NCC were passionate about teaching us.

The great thing about Nash is that we have a culture of "Blue Love" and it means we work to understand their background and focus on our students to get them from point A to point B.

Nash Community College shaped me as a professional. While attending this great institution, I discovered my passions and was taught to strive for excellence in all that I do. I carry these ideals in my classroom, and I hope to inspire my students with the same foundation for success.

Nash CC Nursing Student Named 2025 Academic Excellence Award Recipient

Nash Community College is proud to announce Jessica Gorczynski as the college’s 2025 Academic Excellence Award winner, an honor presented annually by the North Carolina Community College System (NCCCS) to recognize outstanding academic achievement, leadership and dedication to learning. A student in NCC’s Associate Degree Nursing (ADN) program, Gorczynski represents the very best of NCC’s nursing community. Faculty describe her as academically exceptional, deeply resilient and profoundly committed to caring for others. These are the qualities the program strives to instill in all nursing students. Originally from Sanford, North Carolina, Jessica now resides in Raleigh and is expected to graduate from NCC in May 2026. A Journey Rooted in Care
