Nash Community College is an experience I will never forget because it offered me everything I needed at the time. I was given all the resources I needed to be successful. I felt like the instructors wanted me to succeed.

Being at Nash Community College as a student and now being an instructor has definitely given me an appreciation for educators because you have to be passionate in what you teach, or it will show, and it was clear that the instructors at NCC were passionate about teaching us.

The great thing about Nash is that we have a culture of "Blue Love" and it means we work to understand their background and focus on our students to get them from point A to point B.

Nash Community College shaped me as a professional. While attending this great institution, I discovered my passions and was taught to strive for excellence in all that I do. I carry these ideals in my classroom, and I hope to inspire my students with the same foundation for success.

Nash Community College is now accepting nominations for its Outstanding Alumnus Award, recognizing graduates who have demonstrated exceptional professional achievement, community involvement and service to the college. The award celebrates alumni who reflect the mission and values of Nash Community College through leadership, career success and meaningful contributions to their communities. Nominations for the 2026 Outstanding Alumnus Award must be submitted by June 19. Eligible nominees should: Have received recognition in their chosen profession Make significant contributions to their community Have provided outstanding service to Nash Community College The Outstanding Alumnus Award highlights the lasting impact NCC graduates have across industries and throughout the region.
