• Graduates must report to the front desk located in Student Access and Success (Building A, Student Services) for check-in 8:30 AM on Friday May 16.
• Doors to the Business and Industry Center will open at 8:30 AM for guests. All guests of graduates with tickets must enter the front door of the Business & Industry Building and be seated prior to 9:45 AM. Doors will be locked promptly at 10 AM. Guests who arrive after 10 AM will not be granted entry to the building and will be directed to overflow. Re-entry upon leaving the building will not be permitted

• Graduates must report to the front desk located in Student Access and Success (Building A, Student Services) for check-in 4:30 PM on Friday May 16.
• Doors to the Business and Industry Center will open at 4:30 PM for guests. All guests of graduates with tickets must enter the front door of the Business & Industry Building and be seated prior to 5:45 PM. Doors will be locked promptly at 6 PM. Guests who arrive after 6 PM will not be granted entry to the building and will be directed to overflow. Re-entry upon leaving the building will not be permitted

Important Spring 2025 Graduation Information

• Caps & Gowns will be available for purchase from the NCC Campus Store beginning March 27. The cost of cap, gown and tassel with tax will be approx. $38.
• Curriculum Graduates must apply for graduation. 
• VMT & ADN Graduates will receive information about their pinning ceremonies from their program directors/instructors.
• The College will issue five (5) admission tickets for guests per graduate participating in the ceremony. An admission ticket is required for each guest, regardless of age or size; small children sitting in the lap of a guest will require a ticket. Tickets will be colored coded and only allow admission to the ceremony indicated on the ticket (10AM or 6PM).
• Tickets can be picked up by graduates from the front desk in Student Access and Success (Building A, Student Services), beginning on Monday, April 28, 2025, through Friday, May 9, 2025.
• Due to security regulations, guests may not bring balloons, bouquets of flowers, or signs into the Brown Auditorium during the ceremony. Please plan to leave those items in your vehicle until the ceremony has concluded.
• Doors to the Business & Industry Center will open 1.5 hours before the ceremony begins. All guests of graduates with tickets must enter the front door of the Business & Industry Building and be seated 15 minutes prior to ceremony start.
• Overflow seating will be available for guests without tickets in the Early Childhood Education building.

• Graduates are encouraged to wear comfortable shoes to make navigating the stairs and stage easiest. Graduation caps can be decorated. Only Nash Community College approved sashes and cords will be allowed to be worn during the ceremony.

• Graduates should leave all personal items (including bags, jackets, and other belongings) in your car or with your trusted guest.
• All ceremonies will be livestreamed to the Nash CC YouTube channel and can be viewed here at the time of the event. 
• Degrees, Diplomas and Certificates will be not be distributed on graduation day. Graduates will be contacted at a later date for information on credential pick up.
