Nash Community College’s 18-hole disc golf course winds across campus with a host of excellent holes; both wooded and open with some water in play. The combination of holes challenges players to throw a wide range of lines or play it safe rather than running for the chains.
The course is challenging yet beginner friendly and was designed with all skill levels in mind. Its disc baskets are easy to spot from any distance with hole one located between the Betsy B. Currin Child Development Center and the NCC Library.
The course is free to use and open to the public, so stop by and experience an exciting round of disc golf on a beautiful campus.
Interested in learning more about disc golf? Nash Community College offers PED-219, a one credit hour disc golf class. This class will introduce students to the fundamentals of disc golf, with an emphasis on basic throwing techniques, putting, distance driving, scoring, and single and doubles play. Upon completion, students should be able to perform the skills required in playing situations. Visit www.nashcc.edu/admissions for more information.
