Career Opportunities
Graduates may find employment in healthcare settings including hospitals, medical offices, clinics, long-term care facilities, and insurance companies. Graduates are eligible to sit for various certification exams upon completion of the degree with a combination of a minimum of two years administrative experience. Eligible certifications include, but are not limited to, the Professional Association of Health Care Office Managers (PAHCOM), the Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA), the Certified Patient Account Manager (CPAM) and the Certified Manager of Patient Accounts (CMPA) examinations.

Overview
The Graphic Design curriculum is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills that are necessary for employment in the graphic design profession and that emphasizes design, advertising, illustration, and digital and multimedia preparation of printed and electronic promotional materials.

The Graphic Design curriculum is designed to provide students with knowledge and skills necessary for employment in the graphic design profession, which emphasizes design, advertising, illustration, and digital and multimedia preparation of printed and electronic promotional materials.
Students will be trained in the development of concept and design for promotional materials such as newspaper and magazine advertisements, posters, folders, letterheads, corporate symbols, brochures, booklets, preparation of art for printing, lettering and typography, photography, and electronic media.
Career Opportunities
Graduates should qualify for employment opportunities with graphic design studios, advertising agencies, printing companies, department stores, a wide variety of manufacturing industries, newspapers, and businesses with in-house graphics operations.
