Nash Community College is an experience I will never forget because it offered me everything I needed at the time. I was given all the resources I needed to be successful. I felt like the instructors wanted me to succeed.

Being at Nash Community College as a student and now being an instructor has definitely given me an appreciation for educators because you have to be passionate in what you teach, or it will show, and it was clear that the instructors at NCC were passionate about teaching us.

The great thing about Nash is that we have a culture of "Blue Love" and it means we work to understand their background and focus on our students to get them from point A to point B.

Nash Community College shaped me as a professional. While attending this great institution, I discovered my passions and was taught to strive for excellence in all that I do. I carry these ideals in my classroom, and I hope to inspire my students with the same foundation for success.

U.S. Secretary of Energy Visits Nash CC to Highlight Workforce Training

Nash Community College welcomed U.S. Secretary of Energy Chris Wright to campus on April 2, providing an opportunity to showcase the college’s innovative workforce training programs and their impact on North Carolina’s economy. During the visit, Secretary Wright toured the college’s Gene Haas Advanced Manufacturing Building within the Applied Engineering Technologies program and the Electric Line training field, where he observed hands-on instruction, engaged with faculty and students, and even climbed a training pole used by students in the electric line program. Secretary Wright also spoke directly with students in both the Electric Line Construction Technology program and Applied Engineering Technologies programs, gaining insight into their training experiences and career
