Nash Community College will host its upcoming Nighthawk Enrollment Day (N.E.D.), providing prospective and returning students with a one-stop opportunity to enroll for the upcoming semester.
The event will take place on Mar 25 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and 3 p.m. to 6 p.m.
N.E.D. is designed to simplify the enrollment process by bringing together admissions, advising and financial aid services in one convenient event. Attendees can apply to the college, meet with an academic advisor, register for classes and receive assistance with financial aid, all in a single visit.
The event is part of an ongoing initiative that has taken place every semester since Fall 2023, reinforcing the college’s commitment to streamlining access and supporting students at every stage of their educational journey.
The event will take place on campus at NCC. Individuals are encouraged to attend whether they are first-time college students, returning adult learners or individuals looking to upskill or reskill for a new career.
Participants will have the opportunity to:
- Submit or complete an application
- Meet one-on-one with an academic advisor
- Register for courses
- Receive guidance on financial aid, scholarships and payment options
- Explore academic and workforce training programs
NCC encourages attendees to bring any relevant documents, including transcripts, residency information, and photo ID, to maximize the efficiency of their visit.
“Our goal is to remove as many barriers as possible and make the enrollment process clear, supportive and student-centered,” said Dr. Wendy Cook, vice president of student services at NCC. “N.E.D. allows students to receive immediate assistance from our admissions, advising and financial aid teams all in one place. Whether someone is just beginning to explore their options or ready to register for classes, our staff will walk with them step by step to ensure they leave with a plan and a clear path forward.”
N.E.D is open to all. Those who have not enrolled and those currently enrolled, or those who have recently applied, are all welcomed.
