Nash Community College will celebrate the Halloween season with its Trunk or Treat event Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the college’s Continuing Education parking lot.
Presented by NCC’s Student Government Association (SGA), Artistic Designers and Advanced Manufacturing Club, the event will bring together students and the campus community for an evening of Halloween-themed activities, creativity and friendly competition.
Attendees can enjoy a variety of activities, including face painting, a haunted trail and a haunted hallway. The event will also feature decorated vehicle trunks, with cash prizes awarded for the best trunk designs.
The event provides an opportunity for NCC student organizations to collaborate, showcase their creativity and contribute to campus life outside the classroom. Through activities such as Trunk or Treat, students can strengthen connections with their peers while developing leadership, teamwork and event-planning skills.
Trunk or Treat is one of the ways Nash Community College encourages student involvement and creates opportunities for engagement beyond academics. The event highlights the role student organizations play in building a welcoming and connected campus community.
The event will take place Thursday, Oct. 29, from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. in the Continuing Education parking lot at Nash Community College, 522 N. Old Carriage Road in Rocky Mount.
