Missed the traditional start of the fall semester? Nash Community College is reminding prospective and current students that it is not too late to get started.
NCC will offer Flex Start course options beginning Aug. 31 and Oct. 15, providing additional opportunities for students who were unable to begin classes with the traditional Fall 2026 semester on Aug. 17.
The Aug. 31 Flex Start includes select 14-week courses, while the Oct. 15 start date offers select courses during the second eight-week session of the fall semester.
Course availability is limited and varies by program, but Flex Start provides another pathway for students to begin making progress toward their educational goals without waiting until the spring semester.
For individuals considering the Oct. 15 second eight-week session, the later start date also provides additional time to complete the admissions and enrollment process while still beginning coursework during the Fall 2026 semester.
Nash Community College encourages interested students to begin the process as soon as possible. Because Flex Start offerings are limited, available courses may fill quickly.
Students should contact the NCC Admissions department at 252-451-8263 or admissions@nashcc.edu, or the NCC Advising department at 252-428-7350 or advising@nashcc.edu to get started.
